SPIN Car Wash wants everyone, including people with disabilities, to be able to use our website and enjoy our car washes. We work to make spincarwash.com accessible and aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA.
What we have done
- Added text descriptions to images, including the details of each wash plan.
- Gave every link and button a clear name that screen readers can announce.
- Added a “Skip to main content” link, page headings and a page structure that screen readers can navigate.
- Made keyboard focus clearly visible and improved text contrast.
- Labeled our form fields.
- Built our cookie banner so it can be used with a keyboard and screen reader, does not trap focus, and can be reopened at any time from “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page.
- Respected the “reduce motion” setting on your device.
Known limitations
- Membership sign-up and payment pages (“Buy now”) are run by a third-party provider on a separate website. We are working with that provider on accessibility.
- Posts in our Instagram feed come from Instagram and may not always include image descriptions.
